Liphard D’Souza, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and pain management specialist who sees patients at Neuropathy Treatment Clinic of Oklahoma. Located in Tulsa, Dr. D’Souza and his staff are dedicated to providing highly effective therapy for neuropathy and other pain disorders that don’t require surgery or narcotic-type pain medications.
Rather than temporarily relieving your pain with drugs or recommending invasive surgical procedures, Dr. D’Souza uses a variety of medically sound treatments that address pain at its source. He’s the only physician in the region that offers combined electrochemical therapy to significantly reduce pain related to irritated, inflamed, and damaged nerves.
Dr. D’Souza received his medical degree from Mysore Medical College in India. He then completed his residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, New York, and underwent fellowship training at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn. In practice for more than 20 years, Dr. D’Souza is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the Tulsa area, including AllianceHealth Clinton and Hillcrest Medical Center.
Dr. D’Souza has gone above and beyond his formal training with a pediatrics certification from the American Board of Pediatrics and a neurology certification with special qualification in child neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has also received a sub-certificate from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Clinical Neurophysiology (Psychiatry and Neurology).
