FAQ

How is this treatment different than other pain clinics?

The Neuropathy Treatment Clinic of Oklahoma offers a FDA approved system of electric stimulation combined with a Pharmaceutical Grade Nutrient Blend for relief of chronic pain and in most cases, regrowth of healthy nerves. Other pain clinics use pain medicines, lasers, chiropractic, light therapy and vibration therapy; all of these only treat the symptoms of pain and do not encourage nerve regrowth.

How do I know if I’m a good candidate?

We offer a consultation to determine your eligibility for our treatment program. CLICK HERE to fill out the form or call our office at 918-921-8160 to schedule your consultation and assessment.

What happens in the initial consultation?

In your first appointment we’ll take a full medical history, test things like foot pressure and reflexes, and determine if you have large or small nerve fiber damage. We’ll also review any recent lab work, give you an overview of the treatment program and answer any questions you may have. At a follow up visit after our medical team has assessed your file, we’ll review our findings with you and if you are a qualified candidate, you can start your first treatment session.

How long does the treatment take?

Every patient is different and your treatment plan will be customized to your level of pain and extent of nerve damage. However, we place each patient on a 12-week program where the patient has 2 sessions a week for a total of 24 treatments.  Each session lasts about 30-40 minutes and is administered in our clinic.

How quickly will I start to feel results?

Most patients experience the beginnings of pain relief after the first 1-2 sessions, but it’s important to keep in mind that every patient is unique. ALL of our patients report a reduction in pain on the pain scale, usually from 9 or 10 down to 1 or even 0.

Are there any medical studies for this treatment?

Yes. This treatment protocol has been the subject of multiple scientific research studies. 87% of patients experience a significant improvement in symptoms, if not complete relief. Additionally, research shows those who have pre and post skin biopsies have increased nerve fiber density and nerve rejuvenation. Are there any side effects?

None. The treatment is non-surgical and does not use any prescription oral medications. We also treat the whole body with a wellness approach that will improve your overall health, not just the chronic pain.
